Acceptance is tied to the model

The February 2026 USDA Agricultural Marketing Service guideline describes acceptance for a designated model or a series sharing the same basic design. After successful review, a model is placed in the accepted equipment listing. This is part of the agency's voluntary, fee-based review programme.

Changes and renewal

The guideline requires the applicant to revalidate acceptance every four years. During that period, changes to design, construction materials or fabrication must be submitted for review. If the change does not affect acceptance, the listing can continue without interruption. The applicant is responsible for renewing an expiring certificate.
