ZHENGYE / PROJECT RESOURCES
The slaughter line and refrigeration system must be planned together. Zhengye line planning discussions can identify rail and transfer interfaces; the required refrigeration capacity and temperature programme need review by the responsible refrigeration and food safety specialists.

Define the product and operating schedule
Specify whether the output is whole carcasses, sides or another product format and how long production runs each day. Describe the receiving chilling area, anticipated dispatch pattern and any storage requirement. Daily output alone does not show the peak load or the holding space required.
Coordinate the rail interface
Confirm hook type, transfer height, rail route, switching positions and the route into chilling rooms. Review door openings and any manual handling at the transition. Use equipment and building drawings to resolve these interfaces before installation.
Allocate specialist design responsibilities
Cooling loads, room insulation, airflow, temperature monitoring and refrigerant equipment require a defined refrigeration scope. Local food safety requirements and product handling procedures also affect the operating programme. Record the design responsibilities and assumptions rather than treating a slaughter line quotation as a complete refrigeration design.
Include cleaning and maintenance access
Check rail service access, drainage, door operation and the movement of cleaning personnel. Keep product routes and dispatch access workable during normal operation. Ask for a coordinated drawing showing the line, chilling connection and relevant building constraints.

Use this table for project discussions or a printed review. Record actual project information; equipment values and work scope follow the applicable drawings, manuals and contract.
| Review item | Evidence and information to record |
|---|---|
| Product handover | Confirm carcass form, batches and handover points |
| Rail connection | Check hooks, rail elevations, switches, doorways and transport direction |
| Design responsibilities | Identify responsibility for refrigeration load, rooms and temperature control |
| Quotation boundaries | Identify whether chilling equipment, rails, controls and installation are included |
