Zhengye designs and builds cattle slaughter lines from 20 to 500 heads per day, in conventional and halal configurations. Our cattle lines run in Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and neighboring markets — regions where halal compliance, robust construction and serviceable components matter more than brochure features.
Typical Cattle Line Process Flow
- Lairage and reception — holding pens and driving race designed for calm animal movement
- Restraint and stunning — rotary halal killing box or stunning box, with pneumatic stunning where required
- Bleeding — hoisting to bleeding rail, with bleeding time and rail length calculated for full exsanguination (critical for halal audit)
- Head and hoof removal — dedicated stations with hydraulic tools
- Hide removal — pre-skinning platforms and dehiding machine (hide puller), protecting both carcass and hide value
- Evisceration — evisceration platform with viscera conveyor and paunch handling
- Splitting — carcass splitting saw with guides and sterilization
- Inspection and trimming — synchronized veterinary inspection stations
- Quartering and chilling — quartering conveyor and transfer to chilling rails
Halal vs Conventional Configuration
The two configurations share most stations; the differences concentrate at the front of the line. Halal lines use a rotary killing box that positions the animal correctly for a clean, uninterrupted cut, with restraint that meets certifier requirements and bleeding systems sized for complete exsanguination before any further processing. We design to support audits by MUI/BPJPH, JAKIM, KAZHALAL and other bodies; final certification is always performed by your certification body.
Capacity and Rhythm
- 20–60 heads/day — step-by-step line with rail transfer; minimal automation, high robustness
- 60–200 heads/day — powered bleeding and dressing rails, dehiding machine, synchronized evisceration
- 200–500 heads/day — continuous conveyor rhythm, automated transfer stations, integrated data and inspection systems
