Australia's mid-October red-meat table records 58,918 tonnes of beef and veal exports, 11,281 tonnes of lamb and 6,396 tonnes of mutton.

Beef and veal lead the table
Australia's Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry updated its October red-meat export statistics on 15 October 2026. The national total row lists 58,918,358 kg of beef and veal, 11,281,156 kg of lamb and 6,396,323 kg of mutton. Converted to metric tonnes, those figures are approximately 58,918, 11,281 and 6,396 tonnes.
Other products in the national total
The same table gives an all-product total of 89,579,898 kg, including meat categories beyond beef and veal, lamb and mutton. Shipments are also grouped by destination areas, such as Other Asia and the US east and west coasts. The October figures reflect exports recorded by the 15 October update, rather than a completed month's total.
